Having worked on 3 continents over the last 14 years as a Montessori Lead teacher, Academic Director and Consultant I am so happy to say that my inspiration and passion for Montessori has continued to flourish and deepen. I have experienced first- hand how within every child lies a spark of curiosity that when nurtured leads to a lifelong love of learning. Humanity as a whole is facing increasingly more challenges and we are realising that our education system is not necessarily best suited to modern and changing times. Maria Montessori had a vision for world peace and ecological awareness and she gave us the stepping stones to work towards a brighter future. ‘The child is endowed with unknown powers, which can guide us to a radiant future. If what we really want is a new world, then education must take as its aim the development of these hidden possibilities.’ – Maria Montessori.

Parent Involvement

Montessori Coop was initially established in 2013 by three like-minded families looking to raise their children in an alternative and international learning environment.

The Coop is registered as a non-profit cooperative that is fully owned and operated by the parents of the children enrolled.
